03/14/07 - We are currently rehearsing and expanding our repertoire with the intention of playing some live shows in the not-too-distant future. Also, we are on the lookout for a guitarist/singer to augment our current line-up.

8/08/07 - Transposition, the debut album by Chameleon Red is now available for download at DigStation. Each song can be downloaded individually, and so can the album art. Meanwhile, those who prefer actual compact discs will hopefully only have to wait a short while longer before they're able to buy their very own copies!
8/08/07 - The long-in-coming debut album by Chameleon Red, Transposition, is officially out! From the official press release:

And what does it mean? With their ambitious debut album, Transposition, Chameleon Red presents a rock opera that explores these questions.
Transposition tells the story of Jack, a young man from a small town who finds himself at odds with his family and society simply for being himself. Honest, engaging, sometimes heartbreaking, and ultimately uplifting, the three-act opera follows Jack's spiritual, musical, and gender transitions with tuneful, energetic songs and memorable lyrics. Standout songs include the arena rocker "Stand Up", the smooth soul-funky "What's This Music For?", and the folky, sitar-tinged "She's Changing".
